Another Adult Sail Weekend is over and our club was a shining star once again. My sincere thanks go to all of the volunteer skippers, instructors, cooks, and kitchen help for making the weekend a big success. We hosted 19 participants this year, and gave them a real variety of sailing conditions, from very light winds Saturday morning to moderate in the afternoon and a good blast for the race on Sunday! Many of the students asked me to extend their thanks to all of you for being so friendly and making them feel welcome. I received many nice comments about the great food, hospitality, and our lovely facility.

Special thanks to the kitchen crew for all of your help with the Adult Sail Lunch. We appreciate everything you did. We could not have done it without you. We made a great team! Also a big thanks to Carolyn Branchard for the excellent soup she made for the Adult Sail Lunch. It was well appreciated by the students, skippers, and others. The club received many compliments on Carolyn’s very tasty soup.
