Our 2017 Sail Past was a successful opening to the coming season for SYC. It was a day for sailing, fellowship, and a little pomp and ceremony that goes with being a yacht club.
What a fantastic day we had. Lots of sun, good temperature, great wind conditions for sailing and food. What more could we ask for? Thanks to everyone for bringing the 30 bites, those who helped in the kitchen and most of all Esther and Lydia Bryan for the decorating and organizing. The sailing decorations really set the tone and gave the sail past that little bit of class.
As is our tradition, we have invited a number of honoured guests to join us for the event:

Also present was Ann Mitchell, last living Founding Member, accompanied by her son Donald.
