The Stormont Yacht Club always has a dramatic end to its season.

That’ll be the case this Friday, when it will be the fall crane-out — a giant crane lifting sailboats out of the water to put a final exclamation point on the campaign. “(Lifting the boats out of the water is) an example of how people get together to pull their energy in a very well-organized fashion to perform a highly specialized and daring task,” said Christine Ouellet, the Stormont Yacht Club media co-ordinator.
