Just a few words to tell you how much we enjoyed our weekend. It was what we expected and more. The people who shared their boats with us were extremely nice and a pleasure to be with. So, we want to thank you personally as the organizer and all members of SYC for sharing their beautiful club with us. Also, the food was excellent so, much cudos for the cooks and everyone who participated in the preparation of the meals. The whole weekend proceeded in a pleasant atmosphere and a bonus is that we not only enjoyed ourselves but also learned a lot. You and your team did a great job and we will recommend your sailing weekend to anyone who is interested.

I would like to take a moment to give my opinion/impression of the adult sail weekend as a participant and as a new member to the club. From the moment I first emailed Pam in February, to the final sail on my own boat with Kent (and another experienced sailor whose name escapes me at the moment (I am terrible with names)), I felt welcome and at ease. There were never any bad questions and always someone eager to help out. I think everyone in the group (certainly everyone I spoke with) received a positive experience that really ignited a passion for the sport. The way that all the members pull together to put an event like this on shows how tightly knit the SYC community is. I don’t think this point was lost on anyone that was a student this weekend. I look forward to helping continue the tradition next year! I will be recommending the Adult Sail Weekend to anyone that might be interested in trying out the sport of sailing. Needless to say I am very proud to now be a new member of SYC. On behalf of the graduating class, (hopefully we all graduated!) I extend my thanks to everyone involved.

Thanks for the great weekend – Pat and I really enjoyed ourselves! I thought the delivery of information and oppurtunity for experience was perfectly paced and well balanced. What a privilage to sail on so many different boats and the chance to race – amazing fun! Please pass on our thanks to all that offered us their boats and time.
